Memory card recovery
As with SSDs, data recovery from SD and microSD cards presents a considerable challenge, owing to the large number of manufacturers, the absence of common standards and the short period for which each model remains on the market.
These devices are valued for their portability and durability, as they contain no heads or motors. They are, however, frequently affected by faults, mainly due to their sensitivity to voltage fluctuations. Where the card’s controller has failed, recovery is performed through microsoldering and direct reading of the NAND memory.
Types of failure
- Logical failures: lost partitions, deleted data, file corruption caused by viruses
- Electronic failures: power surges, controller failure
Charges apply only when your data has been successfully recovered.
